Quist Cottage is a handsome, semi-detached, period farmhouse situated at the end of a private lane in the centre of the village Hatch Beauchamp, near Somerset's county town of Taunton. Centrally located, the stunning landscape of Exmoor, the Quantocks, Blackdown Hills, and World Heritage Coast are all within an hourﾒs drive. Designed with quality family time for the family in mind, the farmhouse comprises a lovely kitchen/diner with a large farmhouse table, a lounge with piano, wooden chess set and a selection of books. On the first floor are three attractive bedrooms; two doubles and a bunk room, best suited to children. Surrounded by fields and cider orchards the enclosed lawned garden has a wildflower garden and paved patio for sitting out. An ideal getaway at any time of the year and a great base to explore south Somerset and Dorset s many attractions. This includes the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast as well as the excellent beaches of Charmouth and Lyme Regis. Just a short drive away is the market town of Chard which has shops interesting buildings and is well served with places to eat and drink. Most major shops are available in nearby Taunton. Forde Abbey Country House is perfect for a day out enjoy a bite to eat at the tea room or wonder around the gardens. Entering the cottage from the rear you are met by a spacious and well-equipped kitchen filled with lots of homely touches including an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher washing machine and coffee machine. Walking through into a dining room with a stable door leading out to the side garden.
