The cottage is located close to the charming town of Wincanton. You can take a short drive to Wincanton Racecourse and enjoy the steeplechasing have a little flutter or enjoy a drink. The cathedral city of Wells is a short drive as is the Spa town of Bath. Attractions include Stourhead House and Gardens whose immaculate grounds offer numerous interesting features including temples lakes trees a folly and shop. You could explore Cadbury Castle mythical burial place of King Arthur and his knights with its 18 acre Iron Age encampment. There are many pretty towns and villages to enjoy such as Bruton a small town on the River Brue or Castle Cary with its choice of small shops and museum. On entering this superb property you will find yourself in the spacious and inviting open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner.
